Another Semester Wrapped

The last two weeks have been pretty hectic for me. I was wrapping up work on a final paper for my Servant Leadership, Restorative Justice and Forgiveness course, gearing up for a mother's day dinner I hosted and cooked for and working on a few home renovation projects. I almost forgot to mention I also squeezed in two trips to Ringling Bros. and Barnum Bailey Circus at the XL Center in Hartford on Saturday and Sunday. I'm happy to report that my cousins and Karim's little sister had a good time at the circus, Mother's Day went well, I received an A on my final paper (still don't have my final grade yet) and Karim and I are making progress on the home front, slowly but surely.

I was tired and a little stressed last weekend. Allergies didn't help my cause either. Some how I managed to prevail. It feels good to have most of it behind me. Still tired, but at least the stress has been lifted.

Not only did I get an A, but my professor gave me some encouraging feedback with a mention that I should consider Gonzaga's Leadership PhD. Kismet and nice to hear, considering I have plans to pursue a Ph.D in the future.

Let me come back to the present. I'm now only two courses away from completing Gonzaga's Communication and Leadership program. A week from now, I'll be starting my thesis research course. I still have no idea what communications theory I will base my thesis on, but I guess the course will help me to figure that out. At the moment, I'm feeling slightly overwhelmed about that process, but I'm sure it will pass.

While I have this semester wrapped, I'm always looking ahead to what's next. There is going to be a lot of research and reading in the near future. I'll celebrate wrapping up this semester with finishing up the trim on the stairs and some other home renovation projects this weekend. Keeping it moving folks.
